Breath Reset Mentorship™

One to one breath and nervous system centred container over 8 sessions for people who want a precise understanding of their breathing patterns, what those patterns are doing to their physiology and state, and a structured process to retrain them so the changes translate beyond practice into daily life.

Who Is This For

Breath Reset Mentorship™ is for people whose day to day physiology feels dysregulated, whether you’ve been reassured that tests look fine or you’re already living with a known diagnosis and want breathing support alongside your care. In many cases the issue is not a single diagnosis. It is a set of interacting patterns, how you ventilate, how sensitive your chemoreflex has become to carbon dioxide and air hunger, how your breathing mechanics distribute work through the ribcage and diaphragm, and how state and attention shape perception of breath. These variables can quietly amplify fatigue, sleep fragmentation, breathlessness, and the sense of running on high alert even when life looks manageable from the outside.

This work begins with a clear baseline. We assess your habitual breathing patterns and the context they live in, your symptoms, your sleep, your triggers, and simple objective markers where available. Then we retrain progressively. That means reducing unnecessary ventilation, restoring efficient mechanics, building tolerance and confidence with air hunger when appropriate, and practising across different states so the skill is available beyond the calm conditions of a session.

If sleep disordered breathing is suspected, or if there are red flags such as chest pain, fainting, or significant palpitations, the priority is medical assessment and appropriate treatment, and this mentorship sits alongside that care. The aim here is precision, choosing the right entry point and dose, and tracking change so you can see what is shifting and why.

What We Work On

Together we look at your breathing through the same four dimensional lens I use in my professional trainings. The entry point is chosen based on what is most relevant for you. Sometimes we begin with mechanics, how the ribs, diaphragm and airway are behaving. Sometimes we start with the chemical side, carbon dioxide, air hunger and breathlessness. Sometimes we start with the chemistry of breathing, including carbon dioxide regulation, air hunger and breathlessness. Sometimes we start with nervous system state and how it shapes perception and emotion. We also look at behaviour, daily patterns and the interpretations that have formed around symptoms.

From there we weave things together. Breath retraining to restore healthy, functional patterns. Nervous system education and neuroscience so you can understand what your symptoms are signalling rather than fearing them. Interoceptive work so you can feel and name what is happening inside your body with more clarity. Simple habit architecture so new patterns have a chance to bed in.

We map what shows up at rest, under stress, in sleep and in movement. We look at when symptoms flare, how they feel in your body, and what your metrics are doing at the same time. Then we build a plan that draws from breath retraining, breathwork and, where appropriate, pranayama. It’s paced for integration so the changes translate into daily life.

What You Leave With

Across the mentorship you build breathing capacity you can rely on, and a nervous system that recovers more easily. You develop a small, personalised set of practices you actually use, rather than a long list of “shoulds” that never make it off the page.

The intention is that you leave with

  • a clearer understanding of how your breathing and your symptoms interact

  • a realistic plan that fits the season of life you are in

  • lived evidence in your body and in your metrics that change has occurred

  • a greater sense of agency, rather than feeling at the mercy of your symptoms

This work is designed to sit alongside your existing care. If your symptoms suggest obstructive sleep apnoea, we’ll treat that as a priority and support the referral pathway, because the right assessment and treatment can be life changing.

The Format

Breath Reset Mentorship™ is a limited one to one online container. You apply for a place and, if it feels like a good fit, we agree on the length and rhythm of our work together, usually 8 or 12 sessions, weekly or fortnightly, across several months.

The timeframe matters because breathing patterns are learned and state dependent. When fatigue or burnout is part of the picture, your system often needs more time between “new input” and “new default”, so we work at a pace that your physiology can absorb rather than forcing change through intensity.
