Advanced Breath Instructor Training™
For teachers, therapists and coaches who want to teach breathing with the same precision and depth they bring to movement and clinical work.
Who Is This Training For
⎯
Advanced Breath Instructor Training™ is my six month mentorship for yoga and Pilates teachers, bodyworkers, somatic practitioners, therapists and health professionals who want a clear framework and deep embodiment. It is for people who want to feel genuinely confident in their own system and in what they offer their communities, rather than repeating cues they are not sure they believe.
Apply NowThe Four Dimensional Lens
⎯
We work with breath through a four dimensional lens of mechanics, chemistry, nervous system state and behaviour, across the full spectrum of functional breathing, breath retraining, breathwork and classical pranayama. You learn to distil complex physiology into simple, accurate explanations and practices, and to move between detailed science and lived, intuitive experience without losing either. Every technique is taught in context, so you can see when it serves, when it does not, and how to adapt it for the person in front of you.
Embodiment and Real People
The training is built around real bodies and real lives. You will see case studies drawn from my client work and from volunteers within the group, and you will design plans for actual people rather than imaginary “ideal students”. Embodiment is the root of the confidence we build. Your own breath, nervous system and patterns are part of the curriculum, so what you share does not come from a script, it comes from experience in your own tissues.
Applying As Your Learn
You are encouraged to start applying what you learn as we go, rather than waiting until the end. You are mentored through the “figuring it out” phase while you experiment with classes, workshops or paid clients, so that by the time you finish you have already begun to be known for your teachings and offerings on breath. Many current students are doing this in real time.
Frameworks, Tracking Progress and Your Breath Journal
You are given frameworks, not loose techniques. We track your progress through subjective experience and objective metrics that assemble into a personal breath journal, mapping your journey from start to finish. This matters, because when you work with clients they will also want to see their own metrics shift over time, and you need to know you can help them create the results you speak about.
Community and Online Support
You are held inside a global community of practitioners during the training and beyond it. Graduates stay connected, ask questions about tricky clients, get feedback on ideas and keep learning from each other’s experiments long after the six months finish.
Practical Translation
⎯
A big part of this work is practical translation. Graduates weave breath into psychotherapy, physiotherapy, coaching and yoga classes, or go on to create their own programmes and mentorships for the communities they care about. You are learning a way of seeing and structuring, so you can make breath and nervous system fluency a living part of your business as well as your practice.
“Brooke’s ability to distil something so complex into something simple, while also going deep into the science whenever you need it, is what makes this training so special. She teaches from both worlds (science and mechanics, with the energetic and intuitive side of the practice) and that is really rare. I feel so much more equipped with the knowledge and the tools to regulate my emotions and my system with breath and my hope now is to share this with others.”
